Disneyland 2010

Remember the magic! I love Disneyland! It's such a magical place. I love it because I can take Jake there and make new memories every time. It was something my mom did for me and now I can with Jake. I feel as if she is there with us every time we go. We had planned this vacation since last year but unfortunately with my work I was denied any time off. So I had to leave Friday at 1pm and come home Sunday. I have worked almost a year with no days off and I am tired, especially after this weekend lol. But Jake and I are saving for a few months to go back since we have annual passes! yay! We had so much fun with our family. Jake and I got to the park at 7 pm Friday night and got our passes taken care of. BTW his picture on his pass is ADORABLE! We went on a few rides, watched the fire works while we waited for the monorail to take us to dinner. Had a great dinner at down town Disney. Every one crashed except Jake, Matt and I so we took the monorail back to the park. Well Jake got to ride in the front with the conductor. He thought that was amazing! We went on a few rides and left the park and didn't get back to the hotel until 1pm. Talk about a day I was up at 430 that morning lol. Saturday we went on rides and met Aunt Bernie, Kevin, and Nee Nee and Josh since they drove down that morning. We had lunch and I took Jake on space mountain he loved it! His favorite ride is the Matterhorn but he calls it the big rock.. We waited a long time for the fire work show and had great seats but Jake fell asleep 5 min before it started lol. Oh well he woke up after and we rode rides until midnight again. Of course Bernie bought him a helicopter and a blue angel airplane and a new flight Jacket which all he wanted to do was play with his toys. He saved his money and bought a woody's cow boy hat and star wars toys lol. Sunday we spent most of the day at California Adventure and left Disneyland at 5. We got home before ten so we made good time. I am super exhausted but it was worth it. Of course my child asked me when I picked him up Monday if we were going to the beach now lol. He loves to travel. Well enjoy the photo's they will be posted in a separate blog to avoid cut off..

Happy Halloween timeish...

Halloween night..

Uncle Josh and Nee Nee always give in! I am glad I know he weighs fifty pounds and I don't cave as easy haha.

Well I guess pic's first cause I am too tired to organize.. Well our Halloween weekend was a total blast! Jake and I started off at Cobb Ranch Friday night. Okay we stopped at In and Out first, it was so good! Cobb Ranch has a huge corn maze that we went through. It was fun to go up on the wooden bridges to see were we were. Jake loved it even in the dark he led the way and got us out safely! And I say safely as in making sure his uncles were not lost in the maze trying to scare other people lol. After the maze Jake went on the bounce houses and the bike races, that was his favorite he spent most of the evening on the bikes. They have a play ground and he played away. That is until I mentioned ice cream. We left right before closing and stopped at cold stone for a treat! Kind of nice to realize I have a cold stone next to my house, never knew it existed.

Saturday we spent most of the morning laying around doing nothing but relaxing reading books and playing games. I cleaned the house you know all that boring stuff..

Sunday Jake and I went to the store early in the morning to get some stuff to make our cake. We made grandmas earth quake cake! It was amazing! We went over to Bernies at 430 and had a amazing dinner. So many fun Halloween foods. We of course had to visit with our friends until we got annoyed by the children asking when it was time to leave.
Jake really enjoyed trick or treating this year. He made me carry his bag once it got really heavy lol. He ran to every house, he even said to the neighbors "wow you gotta really nice house, its huge and awesome!" lol.. Only my son would appreciate the interior and details of things lol. Of course he got tired and I was exhausted. Uncle Josh even thought it would be appropriate to teach him a few manly things.. I don't think hawking a luggy is a manly but what ever... lol
Love you bro! Well that about sums it up we had a great weekend, oh yeah if you can't tell Jake was a knight this year.. Totally fits too.. well peace out

Jake update

Oh I know you will all enjoy this blog. So Jake is almost 5! yes I said 5. He only has 10 weeks left until his birthday and yes he can not wait. He is in Pre School from 9-12 every day. I almost had a anxiety attack dropping him off at school last week when he went on his very first field trip. But he had a great time riding a real bus and going to the pumpkin patch. Another lovely thing that made me feel old this week was parent teacher conference. So Jake is doing great in school teacher says he is ready for kindergarten, only one thing is working on his shyness and self confidence. Just like me if he does something and it is not perfect he will not want to do it or finish it. So the teacher stopped giving him pencils with erasers lol. Every day after I get off work I go and pick him up and he has to hug EVERYONE goodbye. And I can not trick him by going out the other way, so he not only has me used to it every one just holds out there arms while we leave ha ha. His teacher gives him 5 free hugs a day after that she chargers so he counts out his hugs every day lol. He can write anything you tell him, his name he has memorized. He does not need to trace or see the letters if you just tell him he can write it. He loves to sing, Play XBOX, computer games, ride his bike, books. He absolutely adores the Blue Angels in fact if we have a party that is the theme for birthday #5. He says when he grows up he will be a pilot and not just any pilot a Blue Angel pilot. He still loves trains and everything boy! We love going to red box and watching movies. He loves Taco Bell too lol. He is a BIG eater can out eat me on most days and is learning to like and try new things. He really is a love but can be like uncle Josh and pester you ha ha. He weighs almost 50 pounds and reaches up to my rib cage so he is getting really tall. I may just turn around one day and he will be looking me in the eyes. That's how it feels these days growing up so fast my little handsome boy. Well that's all for now I will be back with another blog soon, love ya

It's a date!

What a marvelous thing it is to have a son. I mean it is crazy to think I am responsible on raising a man. My J is a little man learning things now so he can make the best choices in life as a grown man. I try to remember this in every thing I do in his life that one day he will be reacting to situations in a positive calm manner. Well we both try lol. He has been telling me a lot lately that when he grows up he is going to be a dad. Everything is when I'm big I will be a dad and drive you around. Or when i am dad I will pump the gas. or things like when I'm big I will be a blue angel pilot and a dad. Yes he is obsessed with the blue angels and wants to be a pilot. It melts my heart to think that he wants to take care of me in this way. He is starting to realize the role of a family. And is starting to want sibling ha ha!!! scary! So I decided to take a weekend and just splurge! Jake and I decided it was time to have a weekend get away. So I made reservations, went shopping, and packed our bags. We left at 1:30 after I got off work and picked him up. But we left from his school to make it quicker. Jake feel asleep until we reached our pit stop cause omg! I had to pee! He of course got a big bowl of ice cream (yes I know the best car snack ever lol right..) We got to Pismo around 4:30 we made it in less than 3 hours. We checked into the hotel, then took a walk on the beach. We unpacked and got ready for our dinner date. J got to pick the restaurant, so we ate outside at Brad's so so good. Of course we both ordered fish and chips. The next morning we woke up early and took a long walk on the beach and collected rocks (my fav). We played on the swings a bit and came back for snacks and showered up. We spent most of the day lounging at the beach building sand castles and following dog prints on the beach. We hit up the pool and jacuzzi for a while. Then we refreshed and went to the clam festival. Jake played and we had another nice dinner together and a bit of looking around at all the booths. Sunday we woke up early spent some time on the beach and then packed up and got ready to check out. Before we left we went to the peer and the booths and some shopping. We left early since we never sleep in any more. And we got home about 1:30 so another 3 hour drive it was just perfect. That was just so refreshing to do something for our selves and relax. Jake and I had the time of our lives just taking time out to be us. Enjoy the pics cause we enjoyed the beach..
