Time Machine

Okay so first off, were has this time gone? Has it really been 5 years since I blogged? How I miss it so. Although I doubt any one reads bloggers now a days with social media in tune. But I still really enjoy typing my thoughts away. Life has changed so much for me. I have had to make some hard choices and learn some life lessons on my own. But I find that now I can truly say I have walked by faith. God has been on my side every step of the way and He becomes clearer each step. Fighting the good fight of faith has taught me a few things. One, I make mistakes. Two, Jesus completes me when I do. And three, although I fall I shall arise.
I am thriving along side with him to be a better mom and daughter to him. Working at the hospital has brought me such joy. I am learning things I would not normally be able to experience at other hospitals.
Jake, well its hard to even get started on him. He is now 10 years old! Yes I swear I stepped out of a time machine and am now looking at a young man. He has the sweetest/caring heart I have yet to find. He is such a love and he brings me great joy. All the kids love him and he is so great with them. I often find him reading a book or playing with the babies and it makes my heart melt every time. He may have two left feet but the boy is smart. He still is saying he will become a paleontologist. He is a great reader and absorbs information like a encyclopedia and blows me away with his speech at times. Man how I love spending time with him and wish I had more to do so.
I may have to leave you with this (since I really need to get to work) but so glad to be back in this blogger blog world again. Cant believe I forgot about it.
Love you all, Loushoe

Over taken by cuteness!!!

Well I caved! Jake was so persistent on a brother that I gave him a kitten instead lol. I have been debating if I should or not and everything just fell into place. Jake is in such a nurturing age that I feel its so good for him to have responsibility and to care for something. I am thankful because she is already potty trained and adjusted so well to our home already. She is so loving and loves Jake. And hes been home since school for the last hour playing with her. So everyone Welcome our newest member of the family Bella! (Jake named her)

Cruise 2011

these are split up in 2 because there are so many pictures. And I still didn't put half. I have so many of the ships details and all the little things. It was the most amazing trip ever. Jake loved room service and wants to go back already. As you can tell Howie the elephant went everywhere with us. So you can play where is howie lol. Also the first video starts in order. We sailed on the largest cruise ship in the world the Allure of the seas. It had tons of decks with each there own theme. We got to meet all the dream works characters. Such as shrek, madagascar, and how to train your dragon casts. Jake enjoyed a theme night with other kids every night and got to do so many cool things. We are so blessed, enjoy

Back to blog land

Okay oh my gosh I am sorry :}. I know its been forever since my last blog. Well wow since my last blog what's new. Well since I totally missed thanksgiving, Christmas, and Jake's birthday I about say I should make my new years resolution to blog more.

Jake update: Well Jake is 5 as most of you know. He is getting so big and so smart. Well last week we had parent teacher conference and open house. Jake was super excited mom got to go to school with him. He didn't want know one else to play with him except mom lol. We even got to play air hockey while waiting, oh ya. I truly realized how awesome a kid Jake is when I took him to school and saw the other kids with there parents. I now know that boys are going to be hyper but he is well behaved and good hearted. When I sat down with the teacher she told me how Jake is so smart that she is working on kindergarten and first grade work with him. All the pre school requirements are stuff he know already and that he came well prepared and picks it up quickly. He is not one to like to get in trouble and follows the rules. If you even mention or say you can get in trouble oh man his feelings gets super hurt. He also has to have everything perfect, lol sound like any one I know hahaha. But she said that's his personality were just working on encouraging his strong points. He does really well and she is going to miss him terribly. So today I registered Jake for KINDERGARTEN!!! can you believe that. I almost cried. We are not sure whats going on with that and my work schedule and the district but im sure it will all work out. He loves the typical boy stuff and keeps me going. I love him unconditionally an don't know what I would do with out him hes inspirational.
Me: Same thing as usual work and putting my house together and keeping it that way. Jake and I are hoping to get the patio done the next few weeks and ready for summer. I worked at the cancer society relay for life this weekend. It was an amazing experience, will most likely draw for that event next year if I can. We had our big cruise and I hope to get pics up soon for that.
Peace out!

Disneyland 2010

Remember the magic! I love Disneyland! It's such a magical place. I love it because I can take Jake there and make new memories every time. It was something my mom did for me and now I can with Jake. I feel as if she is there with us every time we go. We had planned this vacation since last year but unfortunately with my work I was denied any time off. So I had to leave Friday at 1pm and come home Sunday. I have worked almost a year with no days off and I am tired, especially after this weekend lol. But Jake and I are saving for a few months to go back since we have annual passes! yay! We had so much fun with our family. Jake and I got to the park at 7 pm Friday night and got our passes taken care of. BTW his picture on his pass is ADORABLE! We went on a few rides, watched the fire works while we waited for the monorail to take us to dinner. Had a great dinner at down town Disney. Every one crashed except Jake, Matt and I so we took the monorail back to the park. Well Jake got to ride in the front with the conductor. He thought that was amazing! We went on a few rides and left the park and didn't get back to the hotel until 1pm. Talk about a day I was up at 430 that morning lol. Saturday we went on rides and met Aunt Bernie, Kevin, and Nee Nee and Josh since they drove down that morning. We had lunch and I took Jake on space mountain he loved it! His favorite ride is the Matterhorn but he calls it the big rock.. We waited a long time for the fire work show and had great seats but Jake fell asleep 5 min before it started lol. Oh well he woke up after and we rode rides until midnight again. Of course Bernie bought him a helicopter and a blue angel airplane and a new flight Jacket which all he wanted to do was play with his toys. He saved his money and bought a woody's cow boy hat and star wars toys lol. Sunday we spent most of the day at California Adventure and left Disneyland at 5. We got home before ten so we made good time. I am super exhausted but it was worth it. Of course my child asked me when I picked him up Monday if we were going to the beach now lol. He loves to travel. Well enjoy the photo's they will be posted in a separate blog to avoid cut off..

Happy Halloween timeish...

Halloween night..

Uncle Josh and Nee Nee always give in! I am glad I know he weighs fifty pounds and I don't cave as easy haha.

Well I guess pic's first cause I am too tired to organize.. Well our Halloween weekend was a total blast! Jake and I started off at Cobb Ranch Friday night. Okay we stopped at In and Out first, it was so good! Cobb Ranch has a huge corn maze that we went through. It was fun to go up on the wooden bridges to see were we were. Jake loved it even in the dark he led the way and got us out safely! And I say safely as in making sure his uncles were not lost in the maze trying to scare other people lol. After the maze Jake went on the bounce houses and the bike races, that was his favorite he spent most of the evening on the bikes. They have a play ground and he played away. That is until I mentioned ice cream. We left right before closing and stopped at cold stone for a treat! Kind of nice to realize I have a cold stone next to my house, never knew it existed.

Saturday we spent most of the morning laying around doing nothing but relaxing reading books and playing games. I cleaned the house you know all that boring stuff..

Sunday Jake and I went to the store early in the morning to get some stuff to make our cake. We made grandmas earth quake cake! It was amazing! We went over to Bernies at 430 and had a amazing dinner. So many fun Halloween foods. We of course had to visit with our friends until we got annoyed by the children asking when it was time to leave.
Jake really enjoyed trick or treating this year. He made me carry his bag once it got really heavy lol. He ran to every house, he even said to the neighbors "wow you gotta really nice house, its huge and awesome!" lol.. Only my son would appreciate the interior and details of things lol. Of course he got tired and I was exhausted. Uncle Josh even thought it would be appropriate to teach him a few manly things.. I don't think hawking a luggy is a manly but what ever... lol
Love you bro! Well that about sums it up we had a great weekend, oh yeah if you can't tell Jake was a knight this year.. Totally fits too.. well peace out
